The 850 MB upper air analysis is created twice daily and is rendered from data provided by upper air balloon launches. Black lines indicate the height of the 850MB pressure level in decameters; a 0º isotherm and dashed isotherms to -10ºC are used to aid with precipitation forecasting in the winter. Blue station plots indicate the actual temperatures, dewpoints, heights, and winds at launch sites. (Heights are indicated in meters with the leading "1" omitted)
