Late Wednesday afternoon, skies were mostly cloudy to overcast 
across the Lone Star State, after a strong cold front moved through 
yesterday. Winds remained out of the north at 5 to 10 mph. 
Temperatures were much cooler than normal, generally in the 50s and 
60s. Extremes at 4 PM ranged from 47 degrees at Perryton in the 
northern Panhandle, to 92 degrees at Harlingen in the Rio Grande 
Valley.
The forecast for West Central Texas, tonight temperatures will be 
below normal, with lows in the low to mid 40s. Tomorrow will be 
slightly warmer with highs in the lower 70s. Through the weekend, 
expect highs in the mid 60s to lower 70s, and lows in the 50s. There 
will be slight rain chances Friday night into Saturday.
