WINDS THROUGH 8 PM TODAY FOR MOST AREAS EXCEPT FOR THE DESERTS...
.Surface high pressure over the Great Basin will bring periods of
moderate to strong east to northeast winds with very low 
humidity but with winds gradually weakening the rest of this
afternoon and this evening.

FOR STRONG GUSTY WINDS AND LOW HUMIDITIES...
* TIMING...Winds gradually weakening this afternoon and evening. 
* WINDS...Areas of east to northeast winds 20 to 35 mph with local
  gusts to 50 mph and isolated gusts to 60 mph in San Diego County.
  
* HUMIDITY...Lowest daytime humidity of 5 to 10 percent.
* LOCATION...Strongest and most widespread winds from the mountain
  ridge tops and along the coastal mountain slopes.
* OUTLOOK...Weak to occasionally moderate offshore flow for much
  of this week with continuing low humidities for inland areas.
* IMPACTS...Any fires will have extreme fire growth and be very 
  difficult or impossible to control. Avoid any activities that 
  could spark a fire!
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now....or will shortly. A combination of
strong winds...low relative humidity...and warm temperatures can
contribute to extreme fire behavior.
