An area of showers and thunderstorms spread over locations south of
I-74 as the evening progressed, with the heavier showers extending
from Springfield eastward to near Farmer City. Temperatures across
the area at 9 pm, ranged from 68 degrees at Galesburg, to 74
degrees at Robinson.
The cold front will continue to push south through the Midwest
overnight, with lingering showers and storms diminishing from north
to south. Strong Canadian high pressure will build in behind the
front, and bring fair skies and cooler weather to the Midwest for
next few days.
Overnight low temperatures, will range from the 40s over northern
Wisconsin, to the lower 70s across the Missouri bootheel.
High temperatures on Tuesday, will range from the upper 60s across
northeast Wisconsin, to the upper 80s across southeast Missouri.
