A weak disturbance aloft passed across southern Wisconsin and
northern Illinois early Friday morning, and brought mostly cloudy
skies and a few flurries to portions of eastern Iowa, northwest 
Illinois, and northeast Missouri. Temperatures across the region
this morning were in the lower 20s to near 30.
Mostly cloudy skies will remain in place through the morning as
the disturbance slowly moves towards the western Ohio River
Valley. Behind the disturbance, skies will gradually become 
partly cloudy through the afternoon and evening. High temperatures
will range from the lower 30s over Northwest Illinois, to lower 
40s over northeast Missouri. Partly cloudy skies will remain in 
place for tonight as a second disturbance aloft moves over 
northeast Iowa. A few flurries will be possible over portions of 
eastern Iowa and northwest Illinois as it passes, but most 
locations will remain dry. Southwest winds will help keep low 
temperatures in the middle 20s to lower 30s.
