Skies across the state were mostly clear across the western 
portions and mostly cloudy across the far eastern areas. A 
disturbance moved across the eastern portions of the state 
bringing scattered areas of light snow during the evening and 
early morning hours. Elsewhere, skies were clear to partly cloudy.
However, some fog was reported across the western valleys. Gusty 
northwest winds were observed across the east with variable winds 
10 to 20 mph elsewhere. Temperatures started the evening mainly in
the 20s and 30s. By 5 am, readings were mainly in the 20s.
For today, skies will be partly to mostly sunny. Some areas of 
freezing fog can be expected through the morning across the west. 
Afternoon highs will be in the 20s and 30s across the west, with 
30s and 40s across the east.
